Windows
Saturday 01/09/07 - New windows and rear sliding door have been replaced bar some final touches which should be finished on Monday.
Lounge room windows with new architraves.
A good coat of paint will make a world of difference.

Sunday 26/08/07 - The seepage pit gets a much needed makeover to clean up the electrical wiring.
Junction boxes make light work of convoluted joins.

Floorboards re-loaded
Wednesday 1/8/2007 - The old floorboards got a good sand and polish, now just got to get the major work done before the final polish is applied.

Settlement!
Tuesday 03/07/07 - So after a last minute glitch with the settlement, we have finally sorted out all the legalities and have now received the keys to the Castle! Nervous excitement has ensued as we embark on the next phase of the journey...RENOVATION!

HIA Home Show
Saturday 12/05/07 - Had a bit of a look at the HIA Home Show at Darling Harbour, lots of good ideas and exhibits. We went a bit nuts with the magazines, so should have enough reading material to last us for a loooong time.

The journey begins
Saturday 05/05/07... so in the blink of an eye (and endless properties viewed) we are the proud owners of our first house! Auctions are definitely not for the feint hearted and the real estate agents really know how to toy with your emotions to get you to part with more money than you want to.
But in the end we are both over the moon about owning our little patch of the world.
So the next chapter begins and we start making it homely ... watch this space!
